So then, it seems that the modern rock opera is very much alive! We've been touring our 14 chapter natural history musical epic pretty much exclusively in schools up and down the country for the past couple of years now, but in the background we've also been chipping away at recording its album counterpart. It's been a long, long time in the making - over 4.6 billion years in fact. Some could even argue that the whole of this planet's remarkable history of evolution has been leading up to, and will culminate in this one gargantuan artistic event: The releasing of the 'AMOEBA TO ZEBRA' album by Huddersfield's premiere astound-o-pop trio, BEING 747.
The album will be available in both CD and digital format - the physical version will include beautiful artwork designed by our good friend Kristyna Baczynski (www.kriscicorp.blogspot.com) with a 16-page booklet containing all the lyrics and narration. Both CD and download versions will feature the full 55-min sequence of songs that appear in the live show.
The digital download version is available RIGHT NOW through all the usual stockists (iTunes etc).
Many have asked us we'll next be swinging by the capital to perform our evolutionary opus - well the wait is over. We have a very special summer extravaganza featuring 5 acts and a Barbeque at south London's greatest hangout, The Windmill in Brixton. It's a Sunday afternoon/evening affair, so much 'chillaxing' can occur, as I believe the kidz of today might say. Details are:

Wrexham Science Festival is back - and the 2010 event promises to be more spectacular than ever before. The programme has a fresh feel - packed with a diverse mix of events which will encourage the investigation and enjoyment of science and technology and we are honoured to be part of it this year.

SATURDAY 10th JULY - Glyndwr University, Plas Coch Site, WREXHAM
Admission is FREE and our show starts at 2pm.
The Festival will be launched with a talk by TV legend Johnny Ball. Johnny offers a mixture of historic insights into how and why people of genius made their famous discoveries. He'll treat us to a look at the present and future in his talk 'Past Imperfect, Future Fantastic'. Also announced is Professor Jeff Forshaw who will discuss Einstein's E=mc2 based on his groundbreaking book, written with Professor Brian Cox. And, Channel 5's wolf expert Shaun Ellis, talking about pack behaviour. He has given up everything to take a dangerous and unorthodox approach to learning about wolves.
